COHEMO trains the Spanish Army in the maintenance and repair of the Leopardo 2E
COHEMO, a Spanish company specialised in supply, engineering and maintenance in the defence sector based in Móstoles (Madrid), organised a course for the "repair of the final steps of the Leopardo 2E battle tank".
The course was organised by different members of COHEMO's engineering department and mechanical/production workshops for 11 members of PCMASA No. 1, including both civilian and military members, from 12th to 23rd April.
The content of the training was focused on disassembly, wheel drum bearing adjustment, planetary system bearing adjustment and final assembly.
The training combined both theoretical and practical parts. As far as the theoretical part is concerned, it involved the study of the elements of the final gears, the position they play in the sub-assembly and the forces they withstand, all based on the theory of mechanisms. With regard to the practical part, the points described above were put into practice, where each participant, following the indications of the different tutors, carried out the step-by-step phases for the repair of these elements.
At the end of the training, a diploma was awarded to each person who attended the course.
COHEMO, as a partner of the Ministry of Defence, always advocates providing the greatest value to this sector. That is why the company always offers the highest quality in its services, as is endorsed by its almost 30 years of service to the Army.
